Giving birth to Naomi has been rejuvenating for me. I remember when I was in high school I loved doing crafts and scrapbooking and then I stopped. I may have an idea of why I stopped but I guess that no longer matters.
In the past year I have made flower headbands and sewn like 5 carseat covers. My brain is just running with tons and tons of things I want to make. Thank goodness for the Internet and the people who are addicted to creating things because they have awesome tutorials that allow me to follow step by step. YAY!!!! The only problem is that not always do I have the energy to sew and soon school will take up most of my evenings. Sigh. I don't know how some of these ladies do it b/c according to their blogs they're also moms. Oh well! Once I'm done with school I'll have the rest of my life to work on awesome projects even though I'm sure they'll be more kids around to take care of. I'd like to believe I'll have some time to myself. :)

Here is one of the many carseat covers. I LOVE this fabric. I made felt flowers for the straps. CUTE!!!!
And things I want to do:
Sling book case for Naomi's room.
I will be making a tiered skirt for Naomi using scraps. My goal is to have it ready by next summer.
dWho would've known I could make such neat things. Of all the things I've made (with my husband's help) Naomi is truly the most beautiful and unique.

Cheesy or not, I have to agree - Naomi is pretty wonderful!
I love that you're getting all crafty. I go through fits of craftiness, but they never usually end well. Your projects look so cute though! I love the headbands!
Hey, I've got a skirt you can make for yourself. You'll love it too, it's made out of pillow cases.
