Aging happens

Happy Birthday, David!!!

On Sunday my sweet husband turns 25. Can you believe it?

Flashback:

When David and I were growing up since we couldn't date because of the age difference we emailed each other and wrote each other notes (I know this is so cliche), but that was the best we could do since we only saw each other at church functions. I remember in one of his emails or letters we sent to each other he shared with me a line from Jacob 7:26 "...time passed away with us, and also our lives passed away like as it were unto us a dream..." I don't remember what the context of the letter was, but I remembered it because lately I have felt that way. I sometimes catch myself reaching up to a bookshelf where I pull down binders with old love notes and pictures and I just get amazed with how young we were. It feels like those moments were just a dream and that feeling of it being a dream reoccurs too often. Time never stops and I don't want it to ever stop...that's why I take pictures. So that I can keep evidence of the moments that have made us so happy.

I love my husband. Ever since I met him, nine years ago, I've never imagined my life without him. He's intelligent. He's strong. He's my best friend. He has a strong testimony of the Church. He's my teacher. He's my life.

Time does fly! Last summer my hubby turned 30! Just for the record, I am still in my 20's. :) Glad you are happy and married to a great guy!
