I definitely forgot about my blog. Lately I'm just busy doing school work and housework. I seriously wake up at 7 a.m. and sleep at midnight. Sure there are students that find this weak sauce, but I don't care because I'm really not trying to kill my self by pulling all-nighters . Any who I have a lot of stuff to do prior to spring break (like midterms and projects) so I will defintely disappear again.
This blog post is dedicated to my awesome break. I won't have anything due the week after break(or at least not anything I know of) so my break will be consumed by relaxation....oh yeah. I tend to be a list person. I like schedules because when I don't have them, I end up doing a whole lot of NOTHING. So my list includes:
- Make pierogies (I was supposed to make some two weeks ago but I just didn't have the time.)
- Spring cleaning (FUN! I can't relax in a dirty environment. Ugh.)
- Running/Meditation/ME TIME!!!
- Bake my favorite cupcakes....Cookies and Cream (love 'em)
- Watch F.R.I.E.N.D.S reruns (hahaha I'm a dork)
- Write a letter to two of my favorite teachers on Earf (Yeah, I know it's cheesy but I think they're awesome and teachers deserve that and much more)
- Oh yeah and Indulge in some pOetry by my ex boyfriend William WOrdsworth (he's been my long lost love, he's dead, and that makes me a creep.)
I hope you noticed I didn't include David, and it's not because I don't want to. The reason to that is BYU and its stupidness. They have no break so I'm pretty much on my own. Tear. I've thought about going to class with David, but that might make me more of a creep. Plus, who goes to school when they don't have school. NOt me. I hope nobody.
To end, please let me leave you with the one that started it all for me. ♥
I wandered lonely as a cloud
That floats on high o'er vales and hills,
When all at once I saw a crowd,
A host, of golden daffodils;
Beside the lake, beneath the trees,
Fluttering and dancing in the breeze.
Continuous as the stars that shine
And twinkle on the milky way,
They stretched in never-ending line
Along the margin of a bay:
Ten thousand saw I at a glance,
Tossing their heads in sprightly dance.
The waves beside them danced;
but theyOut-did the sparkling waves in glee:
A poet could not but be gay,
In such a jocund company:
I gazed---and gazed---but little thought
What wealth the show to me had brought:
For oft, when on my couch
I lieIn vacant or in pensive mood,
They flash upon that inward eye
Which is the bliss of solitude;And then my heart with pleasure fills
,And dances with the daffodils.

I used to HATE how BYU doesn't have a spring break. I needed a break that semester SO BADLY every year, and I was so mad they didn't give it to us, no matter what the reason. And "we get out of school earlier than other universities" is not a help! It's like an extra week!! A break would be better! Have fun on your week off though!
That's one of my favorite poems - and, daffodils are one of the best things in spring!
