News on our belated anniversary

David and I at ages 15 and 18.

David and I celebrated our one year anniversary on May 26. We started our day by attending a Memorial Day picnic with my family and we had a blast. We grilled, played soccer, and mingled with my family until 6. When it came to time celebrate we really didn't do anything extravagant but just had a quiet dinner in Chi-Tung, a Chinese/Thai restaurant (which is my favorite). We also exchanged a few gifts which I know had David excited. Overall the best thing about turning a year was reminiscing about the past and witnessing how much our love has grown for each other. David and I experienced quite the ordeal before we got married along with cherish able moments. It’s just been incredible to be married to the guy that I met five years ago and that I have never stopped loving. I can remember the day that I knew for a fact that David was it as if it were yesterday. There was something about David that I never saw in other guys as I encountered them. I know that this post might make some people sick or thing that its cheesy and I say this because of ridiculous remarks that I've heard. I think that there’s nothing cheesy about this blog but some people can be overly sensitive. I love being a newlywed because of how we kiss walking down the street, hold hands in the grocery store, and eat of off the same spoon and if you think that’s sickening that I'd get a blindfold and every time you sees us put it on. I love seeing couples hold each other too and I am not grossed out by a little bit of public display of affection (just as long as kisses are innocent). I love seeing that real life love is more pure than depicted in films. I know I'm going to love David forever and for always.

You guys are sweet together, and I agree that holding hands and kissing in public isn't sickening.
