I'm so glad I live in this World

When you look at all the different types of creatures in this world you can notice that there isn't much of a difference between us and them. I've always liked to see how similar we are to them and how we are all a great part of His creation. We all need each other in order to live on this earth. I take deep gratitude as I observe the beautiful things that make up the earth that we live in.

As I've been pregnant I've been able to notice how God intended for us to multiply in this world. We are in the midst of spring and I just love seeing how many animals are bearing their offspring. Procreation is definitely the most sacred and spiritual things to witness whether it be a personal experience or a secondary experience. As a little girl, I loved watching animal programs with my father as they taught me so much about God's creations and how we were all created for a purpose. I remember once seeing on video an animal give birth to its young. Instead of being grossed out by it I was amazed. It was astounding to see a mammal go through the process of procreation and even though it's duties are not similar to ours as a parent, it was incredible to witness the birth.

My father used to say that we are God's most beautiful creation and nothing could compare to our divine beauty, since we are made in His image. As I carry this child inside, I see the power of God surrounded me. I've never felt this way. To know that there is a living creation inside me, humbles me as I try to comprehend it. I cannot reason everything that goes on but I merely try to understand it by reading about it. This baby has grown a magnificent amount in the past 6 months; the development from embryo to fetus is just remarkable and the whole process is truly a miracle. God intended it to be this way. I now see why His law of Chastity is very sacred when before I couldn't quite grasp the sacredness of it. I'm thankful for His plan and I do delight in it as I try to find my place among all his creations.

One of my favorite primary songs is "Heavenly Father Loves Me" which testifies of His love that we find as we look around in the world and witness his majesty.

I'm 6.3 months along and currently nesting. My husband and I are working hard to get everything ready for our baby's arrival. :)

That was beautifully written, Cassie. It really made me stop and think about things in a way that I haven't before. Thank you. =)
