Three weeks ago we escaped Provo to hang out in a beautiful cabin on the mountains close to Park City. We were invited by the Padillas, whom David knows through school and we've all grown pretty close to each other. Along with us came the Havicans (another young couple) and their precious baby, and the charming Grandparents of the Padillas (who were the hosts). Everything about this trip was perfect! I saw a part of Utah that I had never seen....GREEN. Being close to nature is one of my favorite things, since I grew up camping with my family, so this totally blew my mind. I just loved how green the mountains are and how cool and sunny it was. David was really stoked to hang out with his buddies and do some four- wheeling. Being the nervous type of person, I was just praying that no one would get hurt and nobody did which was a great!
It was nice to be able to drop work and school for a weekend and go to a quiet and private area. I didn't want to return. It was just a treat to get to know these couples a bit better. I hope I didn't annoy the new mommy with all my baby questions. It was entertaining to hang out with the Padilla's grandparents as well, they are just so witty and filled with so much life. They were awesome! There is so much beauty out here both in nature and in the people.

i feel it necessary to express my doubts about David writing this blog. i couldn't see the pictures though, i don't know why, probably this computer i'm using. Anyway glad you two had fun.
You're right Jon, Cassie did write this one. Sometimes I'm accidentally logged in as her or she accidentally logs in as me - oh well.
Those pictures would only show up for me about 1/2 the time, I'm glad Cassie reposted them
